Journalism students invited to attend 'speed networking' event

The Society of Professional Journalists -- Madison Pro chapter will hold a speed-networking event Thursday, Nov. 7 for any student interested in learning more about a career in journalism. Students will have the opportunity to speak one-on-one with local journalists and newsroom leaders for a few minutes each before switching to meet with another.

Students may bring resumes, clips and cover letters for review by SPJ-Madison members or the featured journalists. Pizza will also be served.
